Lesson 4 - Telling Time

Our fourth lesson is at 8 p. m. on Thursday, 4th of November.

 

Your assignment:

1. Write 5 sentences that refer to a certain clock time ( E.g. THE LESSON STARTS AT EIGHT O'CLOCK)
2. What are the English words for each day (mánadag, týsdag, mikudag, hósdag, fríggjadag, leygardag og sunnudag)

Reading materials:

1.  A pdf-file from UsingEnglish.com: It's_____o'clock 

Additional/optional assignments:

1. Do you know the names of all 12 months in a year?
2. Think about the difference between these three words: PAST - PRESENT - FUTURE
3. Think about the time units that you know!
4. Remember to bring an item with you for the presentation, if you still need to give the "I brought this thing with me, because..."-presentation.
5. Remember to bring a cup/mug for Dorthea's "cake/tea/coffee"-presentation :)
